Our Mission
Higher Standard performs efficient and accurate home inspections to provide our clients with peace of mind during the home buying process. Utilizing modern practices and a comprehensive, systematic approach, we ensure our clients will not encounter any unexpected surprises post-purchase. My wife and I purchased a charming home a couple of years ago, and one day she remarked, "I bet you could do that." Inspired by her words and encouragement, here we are, actively engaged in this endeavor, pursuing our shared vision and making our dreams a reality. We firmly believe that you, as a homebuyer, should be aware of the most accurate condition of the property you are considering to purchase. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge that I strive to do everything with Christ at the center of my actions and decisions. As human beings, our nature often makes that a challenging goal to achieve consistently. However, daily immersion in God’s word, combined with dedicated study of home inspection materials, allows us to grow both spiritually and as professionals in our field.
About our Team
Kevin Dupre owner/inspector:
I own and operate a small home restoration business that I take great pride in and have dedicated myself to for several years. After careful prayer and thorough research into this area, I decided to embrace this exciting new challenge wholeheartedly, and here we are today. My wife and I work closely together to effectively coordinate my scheduling, ensuring that both of our businesses are running as efficiently and smoothly as possible, which ultimately allows us to provide the best possible service to our valued clients.
Josseline Dupre scheduling/social media coordinator:
As a devoted stay-at-home mother, I truly enjoy the fulfilling role of taking care of my family and ensuring their needs are met. In my free time, I have taken up the rewarding hobby of restoring old pieces of furniture, which we initially intend to sell; however, we often find ourselves falling in love with these unique items and deciding to keep them instead, finding a special place for them in our home. I cherish these exciting adventures that my husband and I embark on together, so naturally, I was wholeheartedly in favor of venturing into the inspection business.
Kevin (Vinny) Dupre only child/loose cannon:
As an only child, I receive all the attention and affection from my two loving parents, which makes me feel very special. I play an important role as the backbone of all my mom and dad's various endeavors and projects. I enthusiastically assist in yard chores, ranging from cutting the grass to fixing fence posts, ensuring everything is well-maintained. Whenever my mom needs an extra hand around the house, I am always the one she calls for help. I take my job seriously and can spray cleaner over anything that needs tidying up, usually in copious amounts, to ensure everything sparkles. Now that I am fully potty trained, my free time is slightly more limited, but that does not stop me from joyfully chasing my dogs on my bicycle and getting into all sorts of things I am not really supposed to explore. My absolute favorite activities include reading exciting stories and running around outside.
